Jeong Uk Choi has majored in material science and engineering in his B.S. and studied 'macromolecular drug delivery system' in his M.Sc. and Ph.D. course.
He additionally studied 'immunotherapy by modulating tumor microenvironment' in his post-doctoral fellow period.
At the present, the main interests of this lab is to develope new anti-cancer immunotherapeutics for modulating pathophysiological microenvironment using macromolecular delivery technique by converging various backgrounds such as engineering, chemistry, cancer immunology and physical pharmacy.
Currently, the lab is developing and studying oral anti-cancer vaccine, macrophage based cell therapy, new agent which can modulate pancreatic cancer microenvironment and so forth.
